Nampa Early Childhood Center

There is a general education tuition paid preschool classroom for students between the ages of 3 – 5 years old. Please see below for qualification information. Students who participate in the tuition paid classroom receive instruction from a certified teacher and trained paraprofessional. 

Preschool full tuition is $250/month. Parents are expected to transport their children to and from school for each session.

Payment is due on the 15^th of each month.

How to apply for the lottery:

A lottery application must be completed and submitted to Nampa School District Preschool for all students interested in attending a general or integrated/regular education class at NECLC. Families in the developmental program (special education) do not need to complete this lottery application.

Students must be 3 years on or before September 1st of the school year to apply for the lottery application. Children who are the age of 5 on or before September 1st are welcome to enroll in Kindergarten. Families who are not enrolled in the preschool class need to complete the lottery each school year to be considered for enrollment; this includes families on the previous year's waiting list.

Lottery Process:

To be eligible for the lottery process for 2026-27 school year, children must be age 3 by Sept. 1, 2026, and must not turn 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2026. The selection process for general education at NECLC is conducted by a priority lottery after NSD employees and currently enrolled preschool age students are given an option to register when they complete the lottery process. The priority lottery gives families more opportunity to be drawn and this means you may hear a name more than once during the lottery. 

• First Lottery Priority: Applicants that have proof of residence within the boundaries of Endeavor, Sherman, and Central elementary schools.
• Second Lottery Priority: Applicants that reside within the Nampa School District boundaries.
• Third Lottery Priority: Applicants that reside outside of the Nampa School District boundaries.

Offers for Enrollment:

All students that secure placement during the lottery will receive an email and/or a phone call from NSD Preschool providing an Offer of Enrollment. Offers of Enrollment must be accepted within the dates provided in the email and/or phone call. If no response is received within the specified time frame, the student’s name will be moved to the bottom of the enrollment or waiting list. Students who do not secure placement during the lottery will be placed on the waiting list and will be contacted if a space becomes available. Offers for general education and integrated classrooms will be offered from this lottery.
